1. The name of the Society is West Coast Jazz and Blues Society.
2. The purpose (s) of the society is (are):
a) to assist with the preservation and promotion of Jazz and Blues.
b) to assist with the preservation and promotion of music in all its
forms.
c) to present and/or assist in the presentation of
musical activities,
workshops, seminars, and to enhance
the lifestyles of Powell River
residents and visitors.
d) to apply for, raise, and receive grants, gifts, legacies,
devices,
and bequests and to hold, administer, invest,
expend, and deal
with the same in furtherance
of the purpose of the society.
