Richard Olfert

Richard Olfert is a elementary music specialist/classroom teacher with School District 47, Powell River, at Grief Point Elemementary School.  His is an accomplished pianist/organist/vocalist, and likes to work as a sound technician(he has done this for several local shows).  He also performs with "The Mix", a Powell River male vocal quartet; and as a soloist pianist/vocalist. 

Richard gives so much to his students  (which has been evident  at the past two Vocal Summits with his Grief Point Choir).  It is a joy to watch him work with his groups.

Richard has donated his time to many groups in the community, and to many events  hosted by WCJBS as a volunteer.

He is a positive role model for all of us.
