Nancy Hollmann

I've been singing all of my life, and probably heard my parents singing before I was born. My Dad wanted to be an opera singer and had the voice for it. I have sung in high school and university choirs, I have sung with dance bands and as a piano bar singer, as well as soloist in cantatas and musicals. I graduated from Lewis&Clark College in Portland, Ore. with a B.S. in Music Ed. and I have an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts from Western Oregon State University in Monmouth, Oregon. I have taught music, in grades K-12, with a speciality in choir, band and theatre arts in Junior and Senior High. I taught for 35 years in school districts in Washington, Oregon and Powell River and currently am teaching voice and piano in my private studio. I was with the Powell River Chorus for 35 years as accompanist and then director.
