This award was instituted at VOCAL SUMMIT X in honour of Frank DeMiero, mentor and esteemed collegue of Peter Taylor; teacher extraordinaire, the last word in vocal jazz, supporter of our SUMMIT and regular adjudicator at many SUMMITs over the years.
The award is to be given annually to a person who has shown excellence in the music education of students; who has been a regular supporter of SUMMIT; and who has given to his/her community selflessly over many years.
